As a Blue Jays Baseball Academy Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching the fundamental principles of the game of baseball through demonstration, practice and skill development at our Honda Instructional Clinics and Super Camps.  You will conduct yourself in a manner that enriches the development of the youth players that you will instruct in the community.



  • Instructing players on the fundamental skills of baseball in a group setting
  • Facilitate specific drills in a specified time period
  • Work with other Blue Jays instructors to provide a fun and energetic atmosphere for participants
  • Adhere to Toronto Blue Jays standards and policies
  • Set up and take down Baseball Academy equipment in a timely manner
  • Other duties as required



  • Work well with others, enthusiastic and dedicated to working with youth.
  • Possess technical baseball knowledge.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Background in Sport Administration or Physical Education an asset.
  • Organized and self-motivated.
  • Possess time management skills.
  • Must have a flexible schedule and be available for programme changes and short-notice events.
  • Must be available and willing to work long hours including weekdays, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Must posses a valid G driver’s license.


Schedule: Part Time
Shift: Variable
Length of Contract: 10 Months
Work Location: 1 Blue Jays Way (210), Toronto, ON 
Travel Requirements: Up to 25%
