Campaign Ops Support

Rogers is seeking a Campaign Ops Support to support analytical platform and services within our Data Management & Technology (DM&T) department.  Reporting to the Manager, BI End User Application Support at the Rogers Brampton Campus, this role will be responsible for supporting and maintaining various analytical applications.


  • Responsible for various aspects of application support functions for servers, user administration and security administration for SAS, Informatica.
  • Experience in SAS9.4 product will be considered an asset.
  • Experience in both Informatica Desktop and Server will be considered an asset.
  • Experience in automation and scheduling of Jobs & processes.
  • Facilitate preparation of frequency scorecards to monitor performance and usage of tools to facilitate reduction in footprint
  • Provide on-call 24×7 Production support as needed, on rotation
  • Serve as a technical expert providing input to application design regarding environment, tuning, and administration requirements
  • Working knowledge of PL/SQL and Oracle Databases
  • Have an aptitude to explore new business intelligence tools to better serve IT and business needs
  • Determine priorities and define solution whilst managing competing priorities
  • Support and proactively anticipate trouble tickets for the tools in a timely and efficient manner whilst liaising with business and IT clients.
  • Ability to understand IT concepts deeply to assist more senior analysts in their role and quickly learn complex systems administration.
  • Maintain optimal performance of the application by conducting performance monitoring and tuning activities; utilize knowledge of best practices and industry standards to make recommendations regarding performance.
  • Solid experience in developing SAS code and Troubleshooting SAS code.
  • Developing documentation of the tool and associated processes as required.


  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related degree focus with at least 4 years in IT industry.
  • Telecommunication industry experience is considered an asset
  • Expert understanding of the following: SAS (Customer Intelligence , Marketing Automation, RTDM) , Informatica,
  • Nice to Have: Big Data (Hive, Spark)
  • Broad understanding of Application Development and Support
  • Technical Acumen and desire for exploring new technologies
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
