The Campaign Specialist will report to the Senior Manager, Service Communication within the Marketing department. He or she will be responsible for developing customer communication campaigns tied to key events throughout the customer lifecycle. The Campaign Specialist will also help manage the consumer SMS marketing campaign deployments across Rogers, Fido and chatr.


What you will be doing
• Gather business requirements from cross-functional partners to develop the messaging and targeting strategy for customer lifecycle communications. Internal stakeholders include Product, Care, Billing, Corporate Communications, Regulatory and Legal.
• Work with the Brand team and channel partners to execute the customer notification campaigns
• Partner with marketing stakeholders to manage and execute SMS customer campaigns. These include early lifecycle, revenue generation, service, retention, research and engagement programs.
• Manage SMS campaign deployment calendar to ensure all deployments are executed on time and flawlessly 
• Work closely with platform vendor to identify, monitor and resolve service issues on a timely basis

 

What you bring
• 3+ years experience in Marketing, Communications or related field preferred
• Background in direct marketing and CRM tools is an asset
• Previous telecommunications industry experience is preferred
• Post-secondary degree in Marketing and/or Business related discipline
• Superior attention to detail
• Strong communications skills, excellent organization & project management skills
• Excellent relationship building skills and proven track record of working with and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team, excellent judgment and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Ability to review and evaluate current business/technical processes and identify improvements
• Highly motivated and adaptable, proven ability to manage change in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to collaborate in a matrix organization, and drive success with limited supervision
