We are currently recruiting for a Development Planner for our Coastal Woodlands Division in Campbell River, BC. The Development Planner will be primarily focused on preparing and / or reviewing high quality road and harvest prework packages that meet all regulations and internal requirements. This is a growth oriented position which will include review of assessments, plans and preparation of government applications.

What You'll Do
Integral position within Interfor's Environmental Management System (EMS)
Prepare and manage harvest and road prework packages
Assist with delivery and sign-off of preworks
Participate in EMS Audits
Participate in internal task groups
Prepare road permits, cutting permits and land act tenures
File and data management
Prepare documents to be of high, industry leading quality
Active role within the Planning Group
Approximately 90% office with occasional travel to remote field locations

What You Offer
Degree or diploma in Forestry
Accreditation with the ABCFP
Aptitude in Microsoft, Road Eng, ForestOps, ArcMap / TFM and evolving computer applications
Operational experience within the coast forest industry
