Experience Lead Designer


Play a key role in Digital Transformation at Rogers!


The digital team is currently seeking a talented Lead Designer to join the Customer Experience UX/UI team. This individual will be well versed in the workflow and processes of UI design for both desktop and mobile experiences. Working with the larger UX/UI team, they will be providing day-to-day design assistance to the team regarding the creation of innovative and engaging online experiences.


Responsibilities and Accountabilities


  • Assist in the design of user interfaces that provide an interactive, informative and engaging experience
  • Provide support to business as usual (BAU) initiatives such as promotions, device launches, updates to existing experiences
  • Work closely with the user experience team to create online prototypes for usability testing
  • Work and collaborate with cross-functional teams in the development of projects, creation/refinement of presentation materials 
  • Accountable for all elements of asset delivery to development teams
  • Maintain design style guides for desktop and mobile experiences
  • Communicate the functionality and components of interactive elements with cross functional teams including the development team and stakeholders
  • Provide support to Design Managers and Product Managers


Skills and Experience


  • College Design diploma or equivalent work experience
  • In depth knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Invision and Invision Studio, Axure a bonus
  • Strong knowledge of CSS/HTML
  • Desktop and mobile UI design experience including mobile (responsive design)
  • Proven ability to work with teams and stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and under short deadlines
  • Ability to communicate in English (oral and written), French a bonus.
