Integra Support Services is a dynamic and growing agency that is looking for a energetic financial professional to join our management team. Serving over 125 people with developmental disabilities and 300 employees, we pride ourselves in our inclusive strategies, person centered approaches and long term record of satisfied employees and stakeholders. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Finance Officer is responsible for key operational duties including budget monitoring, financial reporting, accounts payable and receivable, and overall financial support to the Senior Leadership Team.

Job Summary

Develop and implement financial administration and control policies, standards, procedures, practices and systems consistent with Chief Executive Officer approved directives, applicable to legislation, external regulations and other codes of conduct

Provide oversight including shared supervision of accounting, purchasing, budgeting, reporting and overall financial controls; recommendations for expenditures and financial commitments.

Ensure compliance with CRA regulations

Ensure that the organization takes decisions and delivers actions that comply with all community living values, accreditation standards, safety and security standards, contractual obligations, statutory and accountability requirements


Completion of an Accounting Diploma or working towards a professional accounting designation or equivalent experience (CPA, CA, CGA, CMA)

Demonstrated experience in finance and accounting, including budget development, financial planning and management/establishment of internal controls

Proven ability to identify existing opportunities, foresee upcoming challenges and effectively react.

Ability to problem solve under time constraints.

Demonstrated ability to facilitate and work in a collaborative team environment utilizing sound management principles, best practices with effective time and project management skills

Excellent facilitation and interpersonal skills with strong, effective oral/written communication experience, particularly with corporations/businesses, community agencies & government

Strong information technology experience including accounting software systems (Sage Accounting Software preferred) and Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills

Salary: Negotiable; based on relevant skills and experience.
