Health Care Assistant (HCA) Program
(Maple Ridge)

We're looking for the right individuals to instruct our Health Care Assistant (HCA) program in our Maple Ridge campus. Instructors should be caring and supportive with excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

This is a part-time, 20 hours per week teaching schedule (two and a half days), but could potentially lead to more hours depending on student enrolment numbers and schedules.

Qualifications And Experience:
Applicants must have:
Current full registration with the CLPNBC, CRNBC, or CRPNBC
Demonstrated ability to teach adult learners (mentoring / teaching)
Two or more years of full-time nursing experience , One year = 1400 hours so must have 2800 hours of nursing experience
Nursing experience must include working with older adults with complex health needs
Nursing experience must include experience or orientation in home support and multi-level care
