Rogers in Ottawa is seeking experienced Inside Commercial Account Representatives who will be responsible for developing business sales opportunities and generating revenue in the Commercial Business Space (30-499 employees) on a National level. Working within industry verticals, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and nurturing relationships with prospects, and includes providing tailored solutions and services such as wireless voice & data, network connectivity, and a variety of enhanced solutions such as IoT connectivity and applications, Data Centre and Cloud solutions, managed security & compliance solutions, and a variety of customized XaaS solutions delivered directly or through our network of best in class partners.

As a Commercial Account Representative your duties would include:

• Designing and implementing sales account level strategies that contribute to elevating company’s company exceeding its revenue objectives
• Using Vertical knowledge and industry insight to discuss innovative Roger’s products and solutions with prospective customers
• Researching prospective customers to identify contacts, and roles within the decision making centre
• Utilizing Social Media and various creative customer engagement methods to gain alignment across the organization on account strategy
• Independently and collaboratively strategize with territory managers, and value added partners to solve deal challenges
• Updating the CRM with customer information, sales activities, and opportunity details to use for account planning purposes
• Acting as an ambassador of Rogers to our clients and provide them with superior world-class customer experience.

Your qualifications include:

• A proven track record of caring about customers, asking questions, listening, solving customer issues, exceeding performance objectives and working collaboratively within team approach
• Strong academic background
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in a business customer sales environment within any industry.

• Creates, defines, and executes with clear and realistic objectives to reach individual and company objectives
