Reporting to the Senior Manager - Network Marketing, this position will be responsible for the marketing of our defined network value proposition across the Rogers family of brands supporting network investments, a leading Rogers’s strategic priority.  Working closely with the network product and implementation teams, brand teams and with a full cross functional approach, this position will lead the planning, development, tactical execution and communication programs to strengthening the value proposition of network -  by brand, to the community level, with a regional approach considering both internal and external audiences.

What you will be doing:

  • Have a strong understanding of the defined value prop as it relates to each Rogers brands; Rogers, Fido and chatr.
  • Have a strong understanding of the regional priorities and challenges, both linked to network, but overall as well.
  • Working with network product teams, manage the planning and communications of all internal and external network marketing initiatives, to the community, channel and customer level, to support network product investments. Deliver with innovative and customer focused approaches with a regional lens.
  • Act as the GTM program lead for all investment based network marketing programs.
  • Establish and implement a process to support communications on outages for wireless.
  • Lead all app based messaging requirements for network.      
  • Provide the insight, expertise and positioning on all competitive aspects for network.  Track competitors’ messages and initiatives linked to network.  Provide analysis and insight as required.
  • Working with channel marketing and care teams develop and implement network tools/positioning as required.
  • Own the content of network as defined in internal reference sources: NOVA, Sales Assist, Fast Track Training, Community Forums, other. Inventory, review, update as required.
  • Working with regional marketing leads collect, analyze and amalgamate the regional inputs for network build by market as input into network investment prioritization & categorization.  Ensure a strong understanding of the defined CBU capital build guiding principles as a prerequisite.
  • Proactively learn and build product knowledge as it relates to wireless networks and product offerings.
  • As defined, provide and or compile regional inputs for network marketing programs.
  • Where applicable, assist network product and communication team(s) in gaining regional insights on network as the link between the regional teams and others.


What you bring:

  • Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in Telecommunications Industry in a marketing and communications environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or equivalent experience
  • Strong project management skills, GTM experience an asset
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, planning and organizational skills
  • Solid interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • High level of attention to detail and excellent follow-up skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at a time & to work under tight deadlines
  • Has a natural flair for industry leading communications techniques
  • Strong communications and persuasion skills (written and oral)
  • Knowledge of telecommunications, networks and regional experience an asset
  • Candidate location is flexible
