Rogers is seeking a Manager of Web Analytics to oversee all Monitoring and Web Analytics tools and processes for the availability, performance and overall health of our production ecommerce platform (Web and Retail).  Reporting to the Director of Digital Production Support at the Rogers Park Brampton Campus, you will effectively manage production analysts in the day to day operations of our digital monitoring and analytics tools.  This individual will cultivate strong relationships with key business contacts to ensure business requirements are understood and drive our Operations teams to excellence.



  • Develop, implement and manage overall application monitoring and Operational analytics for the Digital Operations and Production Support team
  • Good working knowledge of Digital Space and tools for Web Operations and Analytics (for ex. Dynatrace, HP BSM, SiteScope, Diagnostics, Omniture, etc)
  • Manage the quarterly prioritization process for key development items with Leadership, and participate in ongoing meetings to ensure resources are allocated to maximize value to the business
  • Collaborate with IT teams and business partners to share data, develop recommendations and report in a consolidated manner
  • Provide support to initiatives through effective planning of key projects and thought leadership in setting key performance indicators to monitor progress
  • Govern data collection across Digital channels to ensure accurate metrics are maintained on an ongoing basis
  • Work closely with Enterprise Monitoring teams and business partners to ensure alignment
  • Consolidate and analyze all operational and analytics data available to identify gaps and root causes of systemic operational issues
  • Recommend strategies, priorities and action plans to close systemic operational gaps and to maintain data integrity for the tools utilized for monitoring and analytics
  • Monitor the progress of recommendations in order to move forward on existing operational gaps with action plans
  • Handle periodic data and analysis requests from all levels of the Digital Management team
  • Recommend process improvement opportunities that will improve the client experience

Experience & Education:

  • Undergraduate degree in computer science or related discipline
  • Strong experience in Web Analytics and Production Monitoring tools
  • Prior experience managing/leading development/support teams.
  • Telecommunications experience an asset.
  • Experience in networking effectively at senior levels across the business with the ability to engage and influence business leaders and peer groups
  • Effective leadership, interpersonal and communication skills - both to lead a team and be credible with business product owners
  • A good knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures
