THE OPPORTUNITY

Charged with servicing and developing a client base, the Sales Representative is an indivID: ual who is passionate about continuously growing sales revenue with top local companies. You will be accountable for acquiring new accounts through various strategies including generating leads, networking with key decision makers and active researching. Reporting directly to the Director of Advertising this position will resID: e at the Toronto location. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

 

  • Prospect for new accounts, source leads, cold call, and research to generate sales in multi-media platforms
  • Responsible for introducing and selling creative marketing solutions to all local businesses while achieving bold revenue targets
  • Coordinate with the creative services department on special projects or on designing Ads for clients
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with new and current clients
  • Craft in-depth proposals and campaign for prospective advertisers
  • Liaise between different departments to ensure that the clients' needs are met
  • ProvID: e professional customer service through strategic consultation to ensure client satisfaction
  • Weekly in-person follow-ups with clients
  • Extensive training on all our multi-media platforms and sales tactics
  • As part of this role, you will be required to handle credit card information. Metroland Media is a PCI compliant, and requires people in this role to take PCI training to handle cards in a safe and compliant manner

 

 

 WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR 

  • Degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing or in a related field preferred
  • Motivated self-starter with discipline to work independently to achieve sales targets
  • Possess an experienced level of written and verbal communication with excellent presentation skills
  • Have a niche for understanding the needs of the client and proficient on acting on it
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Attested experience with attaining/surpassing targets and building a pipeline
  • Handling multiple projects while keeping track of targets to achieve
  • Competent indivID: ual who understands the strategy of the department and focuses on tasks to assist it
  • Proficient in using Microsoft office and capable of adapting to new systems
  • A ValID: Driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
