The Rogers Communications Team has an immediate opening for an experienced Senior Communications Manager responsible for supporting the overall strategy for Influencer and Analysts Relations programs.

 

You love to champion relationships with key social media influencers, bloggers and vloggers and relevant industry leaders for the purpose of generating brand, product and service awareness, and loyalty. You’re a strategic advocate for our brands and will work closely with key business players to develop and execute innovative and unique influencer and industry analyst programs. You love working with multiple teams in a corporate environment and are agile and crazy about the details when it comes to implementing programs. You are passionate about storytelling and driven by results.

 

The opportunity:

  • Build on and enhance Rogers social influencer strategy and program
  • Create and execute industry analysts program to support key consumer products
  • Tell sustained social narrative to support and drive Rogers products and services and contribute to overall positive share of voice
  • Build and maintain excellent working relationships with industry analysts and online influencers 
  • Work in partnership with internal stakeholders to build and execute 360 programs
  • Lead planning efforts across Consumer Communications team
  • Oversee the relationship with external agency partners

 

About you:

  • You have 8+ years of progressively senior experience in external and internal communications and influencer marketing
  • You’re a creative thinker and experienced at developing communication strategy, planning and execution 
  • You have solid relationships with digital influencers, vloggers and bloggers, digital editors, key media players and channel-specific social influencers within tech, travel, lifestyle and family
  • You have experience and a proven track record of executing digital communication strategies and tracking ROI analysis
  • You can manage multiple projects and deliver to tight deadlines in a fast-paced corporate environment 
  • You are an excellent team player, with experience managing people
  • You’re solutions-focused, self-motivated and results-driven
  • You’re up to date on the latest industry and consumer trends
  • You understand what types of content break through with different audiences
