Rogers is seeking a Senior Technical Delivery Lead to deliver data warehouse applications and services projects.  This position reports to the Senior Manager Technical Delivery BI, Adhoc Client Support within our Data Management and Technology department at the Rogers Park Brampton Campus.


Responsibilities:

Project manage large scale, enterprise, projects and programs with complex IT architecture and landscape involving numerous vendors, clients, virtual and offshore teams.

Business acumen with strong technical background and proven track record in leadership, deliverability, risk, change management, and projects acceleration.

Interact with and present to stakeholders at all levels including C level, Senior Leadership Teams, and governing bodies such as Program Operating Committees, Advisory Boards, Steering Committees, Technology Review Boards, etc.

Manage full SDLC (from Requirements, solution, development, testing, deployment, warranty) for 4-7 major releases concurrently.

Ability to manage 15-20 projects per year with a total yearly budget of $20M.

Ability to manage traditional Operational/Financial reporting projects as well as BI/Analytics/Data Quality & Governance projects.

Ability to create project plans and reports against the plan (schedule, budget, resources etc)

Takes corrective action, reports on overall status rather than individual items

Proactively manages risks to project success

Tracks budget on a monthly basis, unless projects are at risk or challenges have been identified 

 

 

 

Qualifications:

Demonstrates ability to manage and track multiple projects through the life cycle steps of initiation, planning, execution and project closure.

Knowledgeable about existing and planned Information Architecture and Information Management methodologies.

Business acumen with strong technical background and proven track record in leadership, deliverability, risk, change management, and projects acceleration.

Familiar with Data warehousing, Oracle, Microstrategy, SAS, Cloud Storage, Hadoop (and associated Big Data tools),Transformation tools, billing systems migrations.

Previous telecommunication experience

Undergraduate degree, required. Graduate degree, preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of work experience.

PMP certification preferred.
