Student Coordinator - 4 Month Contract

JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

  • Assist in organizing special events (Trade Shows/Demo’s/Radio Remote)
  • Seek out new opportunities for advertising and local events (on campus, community, MDU)
  • Maintain local events calendar
  • Competitive research and analysis (mystery shopping, local competitive initiatives)
  • Maintain and track collateral orders
  • Maintain swag inventory
  • MDU non-solicit distribution list + condos
  • Plan team meeting for February
  • Administrative and reporting duties as required

 

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong communication (fluent English written and verbal) skills required
  • Strong customer service orientation with a keen sense of urgency and priorities
  • Excellent judgment and decision-making skills, which enable you to juggle several priorities whilst continuing to meet deadlines
  • Strong partnership and collaboration skills; able to develop and maintain effective relationships with peers, executives, customers, and other internal and external stakeholders
  • Currently pursuing post-secondary education in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience (Degrees/Diplomas in Business Administration, Marketing preferred)
