Rogers is seeking a motivated Commission & Fraud Technical Lead who wants to be a part of a fast-paced Application delivery team.  Reporting to the Manager of Commission & Fraud Delivery within the Rogers Financial Systems team, you will be working with our business partners and ITS delivery teams to lead solution sessions, clarify and document requirements, document the end-to-end work flows and use cases for new projects following the ITS System Development Life Cycle.  This individual will have strong technical experience and skill around Informatica integration, data integration, and data reporting.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Translate and document business requirements into technical documentation, and support document management and knowledge sharing
  • Review application software problem reports to provide explanations or programming changes as required
  • Ensure assigned deliverables are within business / audit control requirements
  • Provide support and mentoring of other members in the team; review deliverables from partners and contractors
  • Work collaboratively with all levels of business and IT stakeholders to understand business requirements and implement solution that aligns with requirements
  • Occasional off-hours work required to implement solution to production and meet project timelines.
  • Work closely with the BSAs, BAs to ensure test cases adequately reflect end-to-end processes and are explicitly documented.
  • Take ownership of end to end design and all aspects related to development and ensure design and development standards are followed
  • Coordinate development effort with development team
  • Assist in QA activities, Participate and conduct code reviews once the code is unit tested and ready for QA and resolve issues raised by QA team
  • Create project documentation (Detailed design, Source-to-target mappings, Implementation plans, etc.)
  • Work collaboratively and independently with minimum supervision
  • Provide both work efforts and resource estimates for MRs, CRs and projects
  • Provide accurate and timely progress status to development manager and project managers
  • Excellent informatica data integration, database and programming background 

Experience & Education:

  • University /College degree in computer science or within a related discipline or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of experience with Informatica powercenter designer, Business Objects, Unix Scripting, Crystal reports.
  • 5+ years of experience working with SQL/PL, store procedures, functions and view with Oracle database and/or SQL server
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience eliciting, gathering and documenting requirements
  • Experience in working with sales commission, partner settlement and/or Fraud application systems is a big plus.
  • Proficiency with source control, continuous integration and testing frameworks and methods
  • Experience in creating scripts/processes to automate production systems
  • Proficiency with data mapping, transformation and aggregation logic design.
  • 5+ years of experience working with ETL processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and business requirement
